FAQ
In our attempt to better serve our patients and their needs, we have answers to some of the most frequently asked questions:
Diagnostic Studies
Should Dr. Watson order a study such as an MRI, IDC (Integrated Diagnostic Centers) will receive an order, obtain authorization, and schedule your appointment for you. If you have not heard from IDC within a week from your last appointment, please call 938-1102 to check status of your request. CT scans are scheduled through our office. Once you have completed your test, Dr. Watson will need to see you back in the office no less than a week after your test. Please call 731-4088 to schedule your follow up appointment. This time frame is to allow us to receive your report and films before your appointment. TEST RESULTS ARE NEVER GIVEN OVER THE PHONE.
Medication Refills
Should you need a medication refill, please have your pharmacy fax us a request (fax# 731-0741), or you may call 471-8779 and leave your name, date of birth, medication and your pharmacy phone number, and we will notify your pharmacy. Allow 48 hours to refill medications. Refills are not granted after normal business hours.
Emergency Treatment
After office hours, should you require emergency treatment, please proceed to the nearest emergency room. If the problem requires Dr. Watson to intervene, please be advised that he is only available at St. Rose Siena Hospital in Henderson (616-5000).
Surgery Questions
For those patients that are having surgery, we will give you an arrival time on the day of your preoperative visit in the office. Should the schedule change, you will be notified no later than 1 business day before surgery. For any surgical questions, please call Kareem on our team cell phone at 471-8779. REMINDER: Any blood work or preoperative testing must be completed no later than 48 hours before your preoperative visit with Dr. Watson.
Disability Forms
For any forms that need to be filled out for time off work, short term disability, FMLA, etc…, there will be a $10 charge for each form and we will call you when your form is ready to be picked up. It will be your responsibility to forward these forms to the respective party. Our staff cannot be responsible for faxes or failure to receive a fax. Handicap placard forms are available on our website at www.feetmd.com.
